SPORTS FIESTA - 2019

“Practice like you’ve never won.
Perform like you’ve never lost.”

On 2nd February, the school had set its stage for a big event, at VSSIPS, pre-primary SPORTS FIESTA 2019. Little champions all trained close to perfection, displayed sports skills that were commendable. The chief guest accompanied by the Director, Secretary & Principal. Mr. Jayavandan an international futsal football player and a certified football coach declared the sports meet open, by releasing a pigeon & balloons.The sight of excitement was greater when the student leaders guided the kindergarten in the march.

The cultural display including a patriotic dance, yoga & parachute display, was enthralling and received high appreciation.The energetic voice of Ms. Hemalatha a renowned TV anchor and actress kept the spectators engaged throughout. The track events, along with a variety of props made the arena colourful and fun-filled.

“If you can believe it, the mind can achieve it.” This thought is well-suited for the team events of cricket, basketball & football championship games&the team spirit, successfully completed the events with many laurels. The co-operation from parents & the energy of the little ones was the most appreciable.

GRADUATION DAY REPORT

“I’m making great strides with these itty-bitty feet. Just watch me go as I skip, jump and leap! No goal is too high, no climb too steep. You’ll be amazed by my great, big feats!”

It was Graduation Day, on 8th February 2019 for the kindergarten-2 students. The little feet that walked them through the hall, with gowns that fit just right with hats of pride, was a remarkable sight. Students were congratulated for a successful stage of kindergarten years, who will now move on to grade 1. Blessings of god were invoked and the oath for a promising future was the highlight. The junior students wished their seniors with a song and a colourful dance performance. Graduation certificates were distributed by our beloved principal and they were personally congratulated by her. A significant vote of thanks concluded the day.

SECONDARY COLOURS DAY

Secondary colours day was celebrated on 12.12.2018 at ‘B’block reception. Beautiful back drop was created on the stage by displaying secondary colours.

For the first time Montessori students did anchoring and it was breath taking anchoring. K.G.1 students briefed about secondary colours. They also performed rhymes with action

A – Lollipop rhymes
B – Animals rhymes
C – Cooking rhymes
D – Doctor & Patient rhymes

K.G.2 students were beautifully dressed up in secondary coloured Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers and Animals. They mocked on the ramp and spoke about the costume they wore.

Deepavali Celebration

Everyday the Sun rises to give us a message that darkness will always be dispelled by light. Let us follow the same natural rule and enjoy the festival of the rise of good over evil. Keeping the festive spirit alive, the pre-primary wing celebrated the Deepavali festival. Children vibrantly dressed in ethnic wear. They were enjoyed painting and pasting kundans on diyas. Happy Deepavali to all.

Gowri Celebration - Ganapathi Bappa Morya.....

God comes to this world in many forms and blesses us in different disguises. Pre-school celebrated Gowri Ganesha festival, children dressed up traditionally. Ganapathi Festival – Celebrates god’s benevolence bestowed on mortals like us through lord Ganesha. Happy Gowri Ganesha…

Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration

Grade - 1, 2 & 3: Outing to DE ROOTS Resort.

The one day outing to DE Roots Resort, on Bhannerghatta Road, was a time of extended fun. Fresh air, bright sunlight, lots of fun & laughter was a memorable day. Children enjoyed the toy rides, tasty food, mesmerizing magic show & pottery making.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

“India is the cradle of the human race, the mother of human history!” The pre primary students who were dressed in tri-colour attire filled the arena with patriotism. Students smartly spoke about the national symbols and the significance of Independence Day. A message
to contribute to the nation’s progress was conveyed.

COLOURS DAY

Our world is filled with colours. A very important part of learning during kindergarten years is identification and recognition of colours. Primary colours day was celebrated on 25th July, children of Montessori displayed blue colour toys. L.K.G. students displayed yellow colour toys and U.K.G students displayed red colour toys.

Our world is filled with colours. A very important part of learning during kindergarten years is The stage was beautifully decorated for the entertainment program. Montessori students performed fashion show. They were looking pretty in primary colour dress.

L.K.G. students, all dressed in yellow, sang rhymes and danced for it.

U.K.G. students set the stage on fire with a wonderful dance performance.

FRIENDSHIPDAY

Our friends can be one of the great joys in life. This is a great time to let your friends know how much the mean to you. To give knowledge about friends and friendship we celebrated friendship day on 06.08.2018, Monday.

The students and teachers were dressed in black saree. All students assembled in the ground for the celebration. Significance of friendship day was briefed by students of LKG A& B and UKG A & B sections.

Later LKG students enjoyed playing running race and UKG students enjoyed the game of building the pyramid with background music. This competition was conducted between the sections. After the event winners were appreciated.

Montessori students picked a chit with their classmates names and tied the friendship band respectively.

MUD DAY

Mud day was celebrated on 20 th June, 2018. Mud day is a day for children to celebrate nature, the glorious earth beneath our feet, and the joy of making a mess by getting really muddy. Mud is a wonderful art medium. Our children had a fantastic fun and done palm
prints with mud. It helps to enhance cognitive and fine motor skills of the children.

ENVIRONMENT DAY

Pre-primary celebrated world environment day on June 5, 2018 with great zeal. One of our teaching faculty briefed about the importance of the day in assembly. Few students dressed up in green and expressed the slogans which were written on the pluck cards.
Students were taken to A.V.Room and joined higher grade celebration.

DOCTOR'S DAY

Doctor’s day was celebrated on 02.07.2018 with joy by involving all the toddlers and wished MD appreciated his presence on the day. The tots had put up a small program to bring awareness about healthy food habits and slogans like an apple a day keep doctor away, eat healthy & stay healthy.
